Well, I am on the June 27th agenda to get the upland game quota changed from a 2 per day and 2 in possession to a 2 per day and 8 in possession!!! Wish me luck!!!

Well, I have no bird. Jazz is free now and I hope she finds a mate. John’s bird looks like a half plucked chicken, aahhh gotta love the molt. I am going to start modifying my mew soon. I have some changes that I want to make. It’s my first mew and I want to change some stuff. My dog Lucy is doing great. I need to get her out into the brush chasing bunnies.

Well, I returned Jazz back to the wild on Easter Sunday. She is free now and I had an amazing life experience with her. I’ll have a new bird this fall. I’ll never forget the fun we had together. I posted a video of the release in the video section so check it out.

Well, I will be releasing Jazz back to the wild the weekend of 4/10. She and I had an amazing year together. We had fun chasing bunnies and catching a few critters. I will miss her and she will always hold a special place in my heart since she was my first bird to take game. I will be releasing her to an area with plenty of game. I will enjoy my summer break. I plan to modify the mew and get ready for my next bird.

John drew a tag for Arizona to go trap a Harris Hawk!! I can’t wait to go. It should be a blast! I am headed out to hawk today! Should be a beautiful day for it.
